What was the highlight of Pacifica Resort Ixtapa
Simply excellent! Great service, delicious food.
The way the hotel is built up is definitely something special (on a small hill). The replacement of elevators with an internal transportation within the complex is a very comfortable and practical solution!. It was simply a very pleasant experience.

nice place to avoid
lots of pools, some nice views, beachfront
lack of professionalism amongst staff. Given wrong information several times. AC in bedroom didn’t cool unless put on dehumidifier mode, and was so loud caused difficulty sleeping. At dinner in the buffet, I got up to get dessert and returned less than 5 minutes later to find my table cleared and someone else had been given it. Sat 2x for over 15 minutes obviously done, drink finished and looking for the wait staff to get the bill, and had to start to walk around and ask before they helped, and appeared shocked that I was done.

We loved where the Pacifica sits and the property is tropical and beautiful.
Loved the staff. They are all very friendly. The buffers are all the same and hardly ever change. Need much more variety and quality. Can’t beat the views of the ocean if you have a room that overlooks it.
Being so far away in the Golf Building. Needed upgrading. Food was blah and always the same. We had the all inclusive package and usually went off site to a restaurant to eat. The 5 Star restaurants such as El Faro and El Suspiro, were both wonderful, but you can’t eat there often. No salt and pepper ever, on tables.

Great service and beach!!!
The service and the al la carte restaurants were amazing. The beach was great too.
The buffet was OK, they needed more daily variety. The beds were very hard.
